Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar is set to travel to Riyadh today to address a grave security crisis in the region, where he will call for an immediate end to an ongoing conflict and all attacks on the territory of regional nations during a crucial meeting of foreign ministers.
The two-day visit comes at the express invitation of the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the high-level gathering, Mr Dar is expected to affirm Pakistan’s unequivocal support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of all brotherly countries in the region.
He will reiterate Pakistan’s persistent appeal for a swift conclusion to the hostilities and stress the urgent necessity for a return to diplomatic channels and dialogue to resolve the dispute.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister will highlight Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach initiatives and its commitment to playing a central role in finding a resolution to the prevailing security situation.
