A prominent business leader today lauded Pakistan’s leadership for what he described as a decisive and historic role in mediating a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, an accomplishment credited with averting a catastrophic global conflict.
In a formal statement, Faisal Moiz Khan, President of the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for demonstrating ‘remarkable foresight and diplomatic skill’ at a critical juncture.
‘Pakistan raised the flag of peace at a critical juncture and safeguarded countless human lives from destruction,’ Mr Khan remarked.
He added that this contribution to de-escalation reinforces Pakistan’s identity not merely as a nuclear power, but as a responsible nation fundamentally committed to global peace and stability.
According to the NKATI chief, the diplomatic success has significantly elevated Pakistan’s international prestige. ‘The trust earned today will be remembered with pride by future generations,’ he noted.
Mr Khan emphasised that the achievement has bolstered Pakistan’s credibility within the global community, making the entire nation proud of its leadership’s role in defusing a major crisis.
