Pakistani Women Chefs Bring Glory to the Nation

Pakistan’s culinary fraternity celebrated another milestone as students of Masterclass Pakistan brought international recognition to the country by winning Silver and Bronze medals on the second day of the Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia (GGCM) 2026.

Competing against leading chefs and culinary institutions from across the world, the Pakistani delegation demonstrated exceptional talent, technical excellence, and creativity, reinforcing Pakistan’s growing presence in the global hospitality and culinary industry.

One of the most inspiring highlights of this year’s competition has been the outstanding performance of Pakistan’s women chefs, who continue to challenge stereotypes and prove that Pakistani women possess world-class culinary skills. Their achievements reflect the rapid growth of female participation in professional culinary education and international competitions.

Hafiz Usama Ahmed, CEO of Masterclass Pakistan, congratulated the medal winners and said: ‘These medals are not just awards – they are a symbol of Pakistan’s talent, resilience, and potential. Watching our young women chefs stand proudly among the world’s best is an emotional and historic moment for all of us. Every international achievement strengthens Pakistan’s reputation and inspires thousands of young women to pursue careers in the culinary and hospitality industry. Masterclass Pakistan remains committed to creating opportunities that empower our youth and showcase Pakistan’s talent on the global stage.’
