Pakistan’s armed forces have ensured the country’s defense in every difficult time: United Business Group (UBG)

The United Business Group (UBG) has expressed serious concern over the growing instability in Iran and the Gulf region, terming it “American and Israeli aggression,” condemning the loss of innocent lives in several Muslim countries, and urging for the acceleration of diplomacy to restore peace.

United Business Group (UBG) President Zubair Tufail, in a statement today, urged the Muslim Ummah to unite and play a constructive role in de-escalating regional conflicts. He stressed the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities and negotiations to restore stability in the region.

He said that Pakistan is playing a positive role in promoting unity among Muslim countries and does not want to impose war on any nation. Tufail mentioned that Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s diplomatic outreach to the heads of several Muslim states is part of this peaceful initiative.

The UBG President also highlighted that key regional powers, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, trust Pakistan, adding that agreements with Saudi Arabia are being implemented.

These remarks were made as part of a message on the occasion of Pakistan Day, during which Tufail praised the country’s armed forces. He said, “Our armed forces have ensured the country’s defense in every difficult time,” and emphasized that the nation’s defense is in strong hands and the people stand shoulder to shoulder with their army.

Speaking on the occasion of the national holiday, the former president of FPCCI highlighted the historical significance of March 23, calling it a day to commemorate the “eternal sacrifices and great struggle” of the subcontinent’s Muslims for a separate homeland.

He concluded that national unity, adherence to democratic values, and the supremacy of the constitution are essential to put the country on the path of stability and progress.
