Pakistan’s top leadership, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Friday lauded the country’s security forces for conducting successful counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan, reaffirming the nation”s resolve to eliminate the threat of militancy.

In a formal statement, the President highlighted that the recent actions against entities described as “Fitna al Khwarij” and “Fitna al Hindustan” serve as a clear demonstration of the state’s steadfast determination to combat terrorism.

The Prime Minister noted that security personnel are securing substantial victories against terrorist elements under the government”s “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision. He further emphasised that the entire populace stands in solidarity with the armed forces in this ongoing conflict.

Both the President and the Prime Minister jointly reiterated Pakistan’s resolute and unwavering pledge to completely eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
