Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reach US$20,241.8 million

KARACHI:State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in a statement said on Thursday that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$20,241.8 million on 27 November2020.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as following: foreign reserves held by the SBP are US$13,110.9 million; net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are US$7,130.9 million; and total liquid foreign reserves are US$20,241.8 million.

During the week ended 27 November2020, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 305 million to US$ 13,110.9 million due to external debt repayments.
