According to law enforcement officials, a father who killed his three children, poisoned his wife, and attempted suicide due to severe debt named a local businessman in a video he made. Police initiated an investigation on Sunday, sealing a car showroom and beginning a search for the individual implicated in this tragic incident.
Authorities have confirmed that the incident was not a domestic dispute but the result of a large-scale financial transaction and pressure from creditors, which has left the entire community in shock. The father, identified as Kashif Khan, and his wife survived the poisoning and are currently receiving treatment at Ayub Medical Complex.
In a video statement released before the act, Kashif Khan mentioned a person named Qari Adil. Authorities have identified this individual as a resident of Shinkiari, Mansehra, and the owner of New Haider Motors showroom in Abbottabad. In response, police have sealed the business premises and taken three vehicles into custody.
Expanding the investigation, raids are being conducted for the arrest of Qari Adil. Investigators are analyzing financial dealings, the video statement, mobile data, and other available evidence to understand the circumstances that led to this tragedy.
A formal FIR has been registered at the Mirpur Police Station regarding this tragedy in Kagan Colony. The three deceased children have been laid to rest in their ancestral village of Tannan Bandi Dhandan.
