The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has been honored with two prestigious China Friendship Awards, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to fortify bilateral economic and strategic relations between the two nations.
According to PCJCCI information today, the awards were presented by Zhao Shiren, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China, in recognition of the chamber”s contributions to promoting friendship, enhancing economic cooperation, and reinforcing the long-term partnership between Pakistan and China.
Nazir Hussain, President of PCJCCI, was conferred a China Friendship Award for his leadership in deepening trade relations and attracting investment. Under his guidance, the PCJCCI has become a key platform for facilitating business connectivity, joint ventures, and constructive dialogue within the context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other strategic frameworks.
A second China Friendship Award was presented to Amir Ali, an Executive Committee Member of PCJCCI, for his proactive role in fostering people-to-people connectivity and business cooperation. His consistent engagement with Chinese counterparts was noted as a meaningful contribution to building trust and advancing sustainable economic ties.
During the award ceremony, Consul General Zhao Shiren highly appreciated the PCJCCI’s role as a “strong and reliable bridge” between the two countries. He stated that the chamber”s initiatives are instrumental in deepening the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and advancing shared development objectives.
Responding to the honor, President Nazir Hussain reaffirmed the Chamber’s firm resolve to continue working closely with Chinese institutions and enterprises. He reiterated PCJCCI’s commitment to supporting CPEC-related projects and exploring new avenues of collaboration that align with the long-term goals of both countries.
