Pensioners deprived of group insurance and benevolent fund threaten to protest at Bilawal House

The Sindh Pensioners Alliance has issued a stern warning to the provincial government, threatening to protest at Bilawal House on February 9 if their long-standing financial demands are not met.

The ultimatum was given during a demonstration and subsequent sit-in organized by the Alliance at the Karachi Press Club on Thursday.

The retired government employees are demanding the immediate payment of their group insurance and benevolent fund dues, which they claim are outstanding.

Addressing the gathered retirees, key figures including Ms. Surayya Memon, Ashiq Shah, and Inayat Bhutto articulated the pensioners’ grievances.

The speakers stated that if the Sindh government does not accept their demands, the organization will escalate its campaign by taking their demonstration to Bilawal House on the specified date.
