A 34-year-old man was injured by firing from unknown assailants on Jam Sadiq Bridge in the Qayyumabad area on Thursday, and was shifted to the hospital.
The victim has been identified as Muhammad Khan son of Jan Muhammad.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred near Jam Sadiq Bridge.
An Edhi ambulance reached the scene upon receiving information and provided immediate assistance.
Later, Muhammad Khan was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment. The assailants fled the scene after the attack, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
