PFF to appoint officials for standing committees today

KARACHI:Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, who is at loggerheads with FIFA, has called Executive Committee meeting today (Saturday) to appoint the chairman, deputy chairman and members of for its standing committees.

The executive committee to be held at Football House in Lahore will also unanimously approve the budget for April to December 31, 2021 and the organization of football activities. Decisions of the executive committee meeting held on March 26, 2021 will also be ratified.

Moreover, decisions will also be taken for holding the PFF elections to be held for the term 2022 to 2026. According to sources, the committee will also reveal federation’s plans to hold Pakistan Football Super League on the lines of Pakistan cricket’s Pakistan Super League. Sources, say PFF officials have already took on board a private for holding of the football league.
