Karachi, August 01, 2018 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Minister for Information, Law and Environment Jameel Yusuf has said that the Government is taking concrete steps towards the welfare and well being of the working journalists at every level. This he said while talking to the 4 member delegation of PFUJ and KUJ led by General Secretary PFUJ G.M. Jamali. President KUJ Hassan Abbas , General Secretary Aajiz Jamali and Lubna Jarar were also present. The delegation remained with him for some time and apprised him about their professional obligations and problems being faced by them in the field.
The Caretaker Minister Information Jameel Yusuf has said that the Caretaker Government believes in welfare of the working journalists and media personnel as they are the ears, eyes and pulse of the society and they are playing their due role for the betterment of the society and highlight the public issues through their pen. The Government is considering them and working on comprehensive policy to resolve all their genuine issues, in this regard it seeks their cooperation and support to at par with others to highlight the good things and reduce/ minimize the negativity in the society by playing their positive role to help the government for establish a better and appropriate society at every level.
The delegation thanked the Caretaker Minister Information and assured that they will continue their support and cooperation to him and raised their voice against the negativity and use their pen towards the betterment and development of the society at every level to achieve the oriented results.
