PKMP’s policy regarding Pak-Afghan situation to be clarified soon: Achakzai

QUETTA: Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Chairman, Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMP), has said that party’s policy with regard to the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan would be clarified in the party’s public meeting to be held on December 02, 2022.

Addressing a press conference at the central Secretariat of PKMAP Club Road, Quetta here on Saturday, he said that if party’s policy was not followed by the people, he would apologise. Terminating the membership of MPA Nasrullah Zairey, Essa Roshan, Yousaf Khan Kakar, Qadir Agha and Khushal Khan Kasi, he said Khushal Khan Kakar would be tolerated and no action would be taken against him owing to the reason that he was the son of Shaheed Usman Khan Kakar.

He added that new organizing committee of the party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been formed for organizing the party in KPK. He said office bearers and workers of the party, who had participated in the unconstitutional central executive committee meeting, had been ousted from the party, adding that action against MPA of the party would be taken in accordance with the provisions of the constitution of the country for de-seating the MPAs.

“Instead of approaching me, Mukhtiar Yousafzai central General Secretary of the party announced decisions via Facebook, said he adding that the foundation of dividing Pushtunkhwa Students Organization (PSO) was laid by the central General Secretary of the party while forming the new organizing committee of PSO. Achakzai said that party’s policy with regard to the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan would be clarified in the party’s public meeting to be held on December 02, 2022.
