LAHORE: A flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane on Thursday made an emergency landing in Lahore after a bird strike.

As per details, the plane’s engine was struck by a bird while landing due to which the pilot had to make emergency landing.

The pilot safely landed the plane on airport consisting 168 passengers. The engine of the plane was reportedly damaged due to bird strike.

The incidents of bird strike have risen in Lahore, posting threat to air passengers. The authorities need to appoint more bird shooters besides taking other measures to eradicate bird shelters in the trees.
