Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today acknowledged key international partners, including China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt, and Qatar, for their indispensable support in achieving a ceasefire, as diplomatic efforts intensify ahead of the upcoming Islamabad Talks.
In a statement released via his social media account on X, the prime minister expressed profound gratitude to these nations for allowing peaceful diplomatic initiatives a chance to find a comprehensive and definitive resolution to the ongoing conflict.
Mr Sharif also extended his deep appreciation to the brotherly countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, highlighting their consistent commitment to regional peace and stability as essential to the current diplomatic endeavours.
The premier specifically recognised the global friends and partners who have acknowledged Pakistan”s sincere contributions towards global peace.
He commended the leadership of all allied nations, along with the United States of America, for demonstrating what he described as exceptional strategic foresight, wisdom, and patience in permitting the peace process to advance.
Concluding his message, the prime minister issued a call for collective action, urging all parties to “work together to forge a lasting peace in the region and beyond.”
