Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Aamir Hamza has strongly condemned the police’s conduct for police brutality in the darkness of night, and violation of the sanctity of the chador and four walls, and has supported the nationwide peaceful protest and strike on February 8.
In a statement on Sunday, Aamir Hamza said that such actions are a serious violation of the sanctity of the four walls and the home.
The PTI Vice President blamed the Peoples Party for these incidents, calling the incidents the “real face” of their “so-called democracy”.
He further termed the official conduct a direct and “open attack” on democracy.
In response to the alleged excesses, the party has announced a countrywide shutter-down. Aamir Hamza announced that on February 8, “closed means closed,” signaling the party’s commitment to the planned strike.
