Two individuals were arrested, one of whom was injured during an encounter, following an exchange of fire between law enforcement agencies and alleged robbers in Liaquatabad C-1 Area on Saturday.
The incident occurred near Taji Baba graveyard, culminating in a shootout between police personnel and the alleged suspects.
Authorities identified the arrested suspects as Saad son of Yasin, who was injured during the encounter, and Hasnain son of Zaki.
Following the exchange of fire, personnel recovered two pistols with ammunition, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the suspects’ possession.
The injured individual has been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, while the Super Market Police Station has initiated further investigation into the matter.
