SHAHDADKOT: SSP Qambar, Dr Sameer Noor Channa, said on Monday that peace is essential for citizens and police will not tolerate criminals at all.
SSP Channa visited the city on the invitation of the Citizen Action Committee (CAC) and traders. On this occasion, he said that all the criminal activities would be eradicated from the city. Meetings with the leaders of civil society, including the Chamber of Commerce, are the real spirit of community policing, he added.
SSP Qambar Shahdadkot sought suggestions from the citizens and assured to further strengthen law and order. DSP Qambar Manzoor Ahmed Jokhio, SHO Sikandar Ali Channa and SHO Bahram Zakir Ali also accompanied SSP.
The leaders of Chambers of Commerce and minority community praised the police’s performance in arresting the culprits, including the return of money snatched from the owner of Gujar Bakery. Traders and minorities leaders presented gifts of Sindhi Ajrak and Topi to the SSP and showered flower petals on him and other police officers.
