PPP decides to serve legal notice to Imran Khan over his allegations against Asif Zardari

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to serve a legal notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan over his baseless allegations against former President and co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari.

This was stated by the Adviser to Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit. Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira while addressing a news conference flanked by senior PPP leaders Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Farhat ullah Babar here in Islamabad on Saturday.

Criticizing the PTI chairman over his allegations against Asif Ali Zardari, the PPP leaders said Imran Khan had ‘lost his mind’ and they would issue a legal notice demanding him to retract his accusations.

Earlier on Friday, in a televised address, Imran Khan, claimed that Asif Ali Zardari was behind a new plot to assassinate him for which the former president had given money to a terrorist outfit. He said plans had been hatched to assassinate him as soon as he was ousted.
