ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ‘Awami March’, that began from Karachi, is likely to reach Islamabad’s D-Chowk today (Tuesday) late evening.

 

The Awami March led by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is swiftly heading towards Islamabad after the district administration allowed the party to end its rally at D-Chowk. Earlier on Monday at Lala Musa, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had given a 24-hour ultimatum to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign, dissolve the assemblies or get ready to be ousted through a no-confidence move.

 

According to reports quoting sources, the Islamabad district administration has issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) to the PPP. The PPP has been asked to end its march with a rally at D-Chowk, which, according to the text of the notification, will take place from 4-8pm today (Tuesday).

 

“In case any state or private property is damaged the PPP will be held responsible for it, according to the NCOC. According to the sources, Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) leadership will also take part in the march. The PPP had started its “Awami March” from Karachi on February 27, and people kept joining it on the way to Islamabad.
