Srinagar, February 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and activists held a prayers session at the grave of freedom leader, Ghulam Muhammad Bulla on the occasion of his 43rd martyrdom anniversary, today. Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was arrested by the Indian police and killed in custody on this day in 1975 in Sopore for leading a protest rally against Indra-Abdullah Accord.

Hurriyat leaders including Haji Muhammad Ramzan, Ghulam Qadar, Abdur Rasheed Dar, Muhammad Shafi Mir, Master Abdur Rasheed, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi and Ghulam Nabi Bulla participated in the prayers session and paid glowing tributes to Ghulam Muhammad Bulla.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in his message from jail said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs. “Right from 1947, India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither it succeeded in the past, nor will it succeed in future,” he said.
