ISLAMABAD: District Administration in collaboration with Tharparkar, Thar Foundation and all other concerned departments have decided to organize three day Thar Festival.
According to reports, the festival under the theme “Thar Badlega Pakistan” will be held on March 19, 20 and 21 at Marvin ground in Mithi.
This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Mohammad Nawaz Khoso while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements for organizing Thar Festival at Darbar Hall Mithi.
He said that the main objective of Thar Festival is to introduce Thar as a civilized, desert of peace to all over the world.
