Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Pak Business Express train service during a ceremony at Lahore Railway Station. He also inspected the train cars. This new rail link will connect Lahore and Karachi, covering the distance in 18.5 hours.
The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to expanding such services. He said, “This is just the initial phase; many destinations are yet to be covered. We intend to introduce similar train services in other cities across the country as well.”
Shehbaz Sharif also mentioned other developments happening at the national level. He highlighted the growing partnership between Pakistan and China, the shift in relations between Pakistan and the US, and the positive trajectory of the country’s financial situation.
