Protest by Residents of Jani Bandh Village in Nasirabad Against Dilapidated Link Road

Residents of Jani Bandh village in Nasirabad staged a protest on Tuesday against the dilapidated condition of their link road and held a sit-in on the main highway, demanding immediate repairs. The demonstrators appealed to the authorities to address the urgent need for road repairs in their community, highlighting the serious safety issues posed by its current poor state.

According to community leaders, including Advocate Shafiq-ur-Rehman Abro, Mahboob Ali Sheikh, and Pyaral Sambhal, the road connecting Khuda Bakhsh Wah to Jani Bandh has been severely damaged for years. The presence of numerous potholes has led to frequent accidents, posing a major threat to the safety of local commuters. The protesters emphasized that this link road, which is crucial for connecting various neighboring villages, has become nearly unusable due to its broken condition, resulting in daily incidents.

For residents of surrounding villages such as Khuda Bakhsh, Ubaidani, Qambar Kot, and others, this road is a primary route for transportation. A journey that once took a few minutes now takes hours, severely impacting daily life and access to destinations like Lalorank, Wagan, and the main city of Nasirabad.
