Protest outside Indian embassy in Brussels on Wednesday: KCEU

Brussels, August 03, 2020 (PPI-OT): A protest demonstration will be held in front of Indian Embassy in Brussels on 5th August 2020. The protest will be organized by Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) in collaboration with Kashmiri community and different NGOs on first anniversary of revocation of special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the Modi government.

In a statement on the occasion, Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Ali Raza Syed said, India launched brutal acts against the Kashmiris from the day first of its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947. Now, it is one year, New Delhi imposed further curbs and restrictions by withdrawing special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chairman, KC-EU said, Kashmiris cannot withdraw their right of self-determination. “They are still struggling for this right but India takes brutal actions against them, even women, children and elders are not safe from the India atrocities. Many of the innocent people of Kashmir have been killed in extra judicial acts committed by the Indian occupation forces and a large number of the Kashmiris are in the Indian prisons without any charges.” Ali Raza Syed urged the United Nations to use its good offices for implementation of its resolutions on the Kashmir issue.
