Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langau, today ordered an immediate and comprehensive investigation following an alleged attack on Sardar Nasim Khan Tareen within the confines of Central Jail Mach.
In a statement released on Friday, the Home Minister formally requested a detailed report on the matter from the Additional Chief Secretary for Home Balochistan.
The directive mandates a complete inquiry, specifically questioning the whereabouts of corrections personnel at the time of the purported incident.
Investigators have been instructed to conduct a meticulous review of the facility”s CCTV recordings, entry logs, and staff duty rosters to establish a clear timeline of events.
Mr Langau has demanded that a full report on the alleged assault be submitted without delay.
He further emphasised that any dereliction of duty or carelessness on the part of prison staff would face strict consequences, stating that such negligence “will not be tolerated under any circumstances.”
