QUETTA: Sain Safiullah Khan Kakar, Provincial leader, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has called on the authorities to provide relief goods to the rain affected families of the province, including Quetta.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that the recent downpours destroyed several homes in Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area near Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani madrassa in Pushtoonabad, Quetta, but no relief goods were provided to the affected families either by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) or district administration.

He added that the office bearers of PTI Shaheen Unit, Pushtoonabad requested Administrator, Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) in black and white to remove garbage lying scattered in the streets and main road of Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area of Pushtoonabad, but so far needful had not been done. He called on the authorities to provide relief goods to the rain affected families of the province, including Quetta.
