According to a statement by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is engaged in a continuous rescue and relief operation for flood victims. Officers and personnel are working around the clock, using hundreds of vehicles and boats to evacuate citizens from flood-affected areas and relocate them to safe places.

Millions of people and livestock worth millions of dollars have been moved to safe places. Essential items are being provided to displaced people residing in relief camps, including food, clean drinking water, medical aid, and security.
