Islamabad, August 06, 2020 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says Pakistan and Afghanistan can utilize vast opportunities available in the fields of trade and agriculture, for the welfare of the people of both the countries. Talking to Speaker Afghan Wolesi Jirga Mir Rehman Rehmani in a video meeting on Thursday the Speaker said Parliamentary Friendship Groups can play an important role in bringing the two countries closer.
Both the leaders discussed host of bilateral and regional issues agreed to further intensify effort for regional prosperity. The Speaker National Assembly invited the Afghan Speaker and Deputy Speaker to visit Pakistan along with a parliamentary delegation. Speaker Wolesi Jirga commended keen interest taken by Speaker Asad Qaiser in removing obstacles in Afghanistan’s trade with Pakistan. Afghan Speaker appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace and social development in Afghanistan.
