QUETTA:Quetta-Chaman highway near Askari park, Airport Road area was blocked by enraged tribesmen, demanding the authorities to recover the abducted son of Haji Abdul Rehman, tribal elder of Nawa Killi.

According to detail, enraged protesters blocked Quetta-Chaman highway near Askari Park area of Airport Road, Quetta for all kinds of traffic, demanding the authorities for the safe recovery of the abducted son of Haji Abdul Rehman, tribal elder of Nawa Killi Quetta. Highway, which remained blocked for one hour, was opened for traffic after Babar Yousafzai, Coordinator to Chief Minister and SP, Sadr Police, Quetta held parleys with the representatives of protesters.

Talking to PPI on the occasion, Nur Khan Khilji, Chief of Khilji tribe and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Balochistan said that 48 hours ultimatum had been given to the authorities for the safe recovery of the abducted son of Haji Abdul Rehman, adding that if the abductee was not recovered within 48 hours, main highways of the province would be blocked
