Quetta-Chaman highway was blocked for all kinds of vehicular traffic on Tuesday near Yaru area of district Pishin on the call of Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aaeen-Pakistan in solidarity with participants of Chaman’s protest sit-in staged against the enforcement of Single Document Regime Policy.

by blocking Quetta-Karachi main highway near Yaru area of district Pishin in support of the demands of the Chaman’s protest sit-in staged against the enforcement of “Single Document Regime Policy”.

Talking to PPI on the occasion, district joint Secretary, Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Haji Akbar Khan said that three hour token strike was being observed to divert the attention of authorities towards the demands of protest sit-in being observed in Chaman for the last 215 days.

He said that protesters of Chaman protest sit-in were demanding to allow citizens of district Chaman and district Killa Abdullah to cross border into Afghanistan through Computerised National Identity Card for trade instead of passport and visa.
