Quetta Customs foils foreign goods smuggling bid

NUSHKI:Quetta Customs on Saturday claimed to have foiled a smuggling bid by seizing foreign good worth millions of rupees in an operation in Nushki area of the province on Saturday.

According to Collectorate of Customs Balochistan information, a Customs Quetta team in an operation conducted on main RCD Highway of Nuski seized 43,000 kilograms of Khaskhas, Iranian petrol, water pumps, window conditioners, electric gas heaters, and other foreign good.

The value of the seized items was reported to be Rs5 crore. Operation was conducted by Superintendent Saleem Agha, Inspector Aslam Sulangi, Inspector Naseer Shaheen and other staff in compliance with the directives of Chief Collector, Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan, Gul Rehman, Collector Customs, Quetta, Irfan Javed, Additional Collector, Yasir Wahab Kulhar and Deputy Collector, and Dr Zuhaib Sandela.
