Quetta Customs seizes 24 non-customs-paid vehicles

QUETTA:Quetta Customs, FC and police in a joint crackdown seized 24 non-customs-paid vehicles here on Sunday.


According to detail, Customs Quetta, Frontier Corps Balochistan and police conducted joint raids on showrooms along Airport road area of the provincial capital and seized 24 non-customs-paid expensive vehicles.


Value of the impounded non-customs-paid vehicle was reported to be about Rs12 crore. Raid was conducted under the supervision of Additional Collector, Yashir Kulwar, Deputy Collector Akbar Jan in compliance with the directions of Chief Collector Customs Balochistan and Collector Preventive Irfan Javed.


On the occasion, miscreants tried to disrupt law and order; however, situation was controlled by FC and police.
