‘PDM was struggling for supremacy of parliament’

QUETTA:Leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have said that PDM was struggling for supremacy of parliament and constitution, rule of law, independence of judiciary, against inflation, unemployment and lawlessness.

These views were expressed by MNA Moulana Abdul Wasey, Provincial Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Senator Usman Khan Kakar of Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Agha Hassan of Balochistan National Party, Khair Jan Baloch of National Party, Rashid Khan Nasar of Awami National Party, Moulana Asmatullah Salim of Jamiat Ahle Hadees, Wali Muhammad of PPP, Abdul Wahab Atal of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and others while addressing a protest demonstration held at Bacha Khan Chowk of the provincial capital under the auspices of Pakistan Democratic Movement.

MPA Nasrullah Zehri, MPA Akhtar Hussain Langove, MPA Ahmed Nawaz Baloch, Moulana Abdul Rehman Rafique, Haji Bashir Ahmed Kakar, Moulana Khurshid Ahmed, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Kabeer Afghan, Atta Muhammad Bangulzai, Obaid Lashari and others were also present.

Speakers while condemning arrest of PDM’s workers and lodging cases against leaders, said that those who were talking about the supremacy of parliament were being regarded as traitors. They said in order to rid the people of selected rulers, PDM was waging struggle.
