QUETTA:Quetta-Karachi main highway was blocked at Chutu area of Mastung against non-availability of gas.
Protesters, including women, staged a protest sit-in on Quetta Karachi highway at the site of Chutu, District Mastung, blocking highway for all kind of traffic.
Demanding gas supply for the residents of Mastung, protesters said though gas valve had been laid some five years ago, but gas connections had not been provided to many villages of district Mastung.
They said time and again the matter had been brought into the notice of higher authorities of SSGC, but no action had so far been taken. They called on authorities to provide gas facilities to all the areas of Mastung.
