’Quiz Shows Are a Great Way to Enhance Knowledge and Remember History’: DC Khairpur

Khairpur Deputy Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Rahujo has termed quiz competitions as a great way for students to enhance their knowledge and remember the history of Pakistan. He stated this while addressing an inter-school quiz competition titled “One Nation, One Country” at Government Naz Pilot Higher Secondary School Khairpur. The competition was organized by the district administration and the education department to promote patriotism and highlight the security, safety, and unity of Pakistan.

The Naz Pilot High School team won the competition with 9 points, while Government Girls School Jeelani Mohalla secured the second position with 7 points. Rahujo lauded the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, police, and Rangers, reiterating the nation’s preparedness to defend the country. Quoting the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said, “When a Hindu becomes a Muslim, understand that Pakistan has been created.”

Additional Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Hussain Jhando thanked the participants, audience, and teachers and shared details about the program. Rahujo also stated that Pakistani forces had decisively defeated the enemy in the “war of right,” which would deter any future transgressions.

A number of officials attended the event, including Assistant Commissioner Arsalan Haider Phulpoto, education officers, Principal Naz School Khalil-ur-Rehman, ADHO Dr. Shahid Khaskheli, Deputy Director Information Syed Sajid Hussain Shah, CMO Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, and representatives from over 20 government departments, along with journalists, teachers, students, and staff.
