KARACHI:PMD said on Monday that rain is expected in lower Sindh during the next 24 hours as the cyclone is moving towards Sindh coastal area.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Westerly wave is present over northern parts of the country. The Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (VSCS) “BIPARJOY” lies near Latitude 18.7°N and Longitude 67.8°E at a distance of about 690km south of Karachi. The system is likely to keep tracking further in north direction during next 24 Hour. The tropical cyclone is likely to recurve on June 14 and Cyclone is likely to move north-east while it is likely to collide between Kati Bandar (south-east Sindh) and Indian Gujarat.

Mainly very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, Dust/thunderstorm-rain (with isolated hailstorm) is likely in Kashmir, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, East Balochistan and lower Sindh.

Mainly very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, Dust/thunderstorm-rain (with isolated hailstorm) is likely in Kashmir, North East Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, East Balochistan and central/lower Sindh. While dust raising/gusty winds are expected in central districts of the country in afternoon.
