Rain, Thunderstorms Predicted For Parts Of Balochistan

The Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center forecasts partly cloudy and very humid conditions across most of Balochistan, with a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in several districts over the next 24 hours. These districts include Zhob, Musakhel, Sherani, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Khuzdar, Lasbella, Dera Bugti, Ziarat, and Harnai.

Over the next 48 hours, hot and humid conditions are anticipated across most of the province. The possibility of rain, wind, and thunderstorms persists in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Kohlu, Musakhel, Loralai, Khuzdar, Lasbella, Dera Bugti, Ziarat, and Harnai during this period.

In the past 24 hours, rainfall was recorded in several areas. Loralai received 5.3mm of precipitation, Lasbella experienced 4.0mm, and Khuzdar had trace amounts. Temperatures varied across the region, with Nokkundi reaching a high of 45.0°C and a low of 31.5°C. Quetta city experienced temperatures ranging from 37.5°C to 23.0°C, while other areas like Dalbandin, Usta Muhammad, Sibbi, and Panjgur also saw significant temperature fluctuations. Coastal regions such as Gwadar, Jiwani, Pasni, and Ormara reported milder temperatures.
