Rangers capture five suspected dacoits in Sindh’s riverine area

KARACHI, In an operation conducted by Sindh Rangers in the Katcha area of interior Sindh, at least five suspected dacoits and criminals were apprehended, it emerged on Monday.

According to an official spokesperson for the Rangers, the five individuals, identified as Muhammad Hasan Kosh, Haji Imdad Ali, Nawab Ali (alias Nawabi), Muhammad Umar, and Falak Sher, are believed to be involved in various criminal activities.

The spokesperson went on to state that the arrested suspects were allegedly connected to crimes such as robbery, kidnapping for ransom, murder, and aiding in the promotion of terrorism in Goth Mir Kosh area of Ghotki Tehsil, located in the Sindh region.

Furthermore, the law enforcement authorities seized an assortment of weapons, ammunition, bulletproof jackets, and telescopes from the possession of the detained individuals.

Additionally, it was reported that more than nine First Information Reports (FIRs) have already been filed at different police stations against the suspects in custody.

The arrested individuals have been transferred to the police for further legal action, accompanied by the arms, ammunition, and stolen items recovered from them.
