The city’s traffic police, acting on a large number of public complaints last month, successfully resolved 351 out of the 375 complaints received, while inquiries into 24 department-related cases are ongoing.
The complaint cell in-charge stated today that, the department received complaints of various natures, most of which were promptly acted upon under the special orders of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam.
The official reported that the swift action on these matters resulted in an 87.35% satisfaction rate among the complainants.
CTO Farhan Aslam reiterated the department’s commitment, stating that the prompt redressal of grievances creates a positive image of the police among complainants.
“Our job is to serve the citizens and resolve their complaints promptly,” said the CTO, adding that the slogan “Police’s duty is your help” is being embraced in its true spirit.
