Reception for the Position Holder Student Team of ICT Competition Held in China

Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agricultural University, Engineer Professor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal, organized a reception today to acknowledge the outstanding success of the student team that secured the third position in the global finals of the Huawei ICT Competition 2025-2026 held in Shenzhen, China.

The Pakistani team, which included students from Sindh Agricultural University Tandojam and Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro, demonstrated exceptional performance in the network track and showcased remarkable performance against international competitors.

Muhammad Noman Khan from the Information Technology Center of Sindh Agricultural University, along with Inam Brohi and Saqib Hussain from Mehran University, were key members of the team. Their success not only brought international recognition to Pakistan but also highlighted the competence and capability of Pakistani students in the field of information and communication technology.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal praised Muhammad Noman Khan and the entire team, stating that their successes in international competitions are a source of pride not only for the university but also for the nation. He emphasized that such achievements are evidence of the university’s commitment to providing quality education and training in line with modern technology requirements.

Faculty member of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Sohrab Thihem, was also appreciated for playing a significant role in guiding and contributing to the students’ success.

In return, the students expressed their deep gratitude to the university administration and their teachers. They acknowledged that the support and opportunities provided by their institutions were crucial in enabling them to compete successfully on an international platform.
