KARACHI:The provincial government on Sunday expanded pillion riding ban in the Sindh province, disallowing women and children from it.
A Sindh Home Department notification says all previous exemptions in pillion riding have been withdrawn and no type of pillion riding is permitted. It said that pillion riding on motorcycles was already banned during lockdown, but now women and children had also been banned from it. All the officers of Karachi police have been directed to ensure the imposition of the ban and take appropriate action against the violators.
