QUETTA: Muhammad Ishaque Jamali, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, has said construction, repair and renovation work at Qayyum Papa football ground would soon be finalized, making the ground one of the best venues for arranging football events.
These views were expressed by him while talking to media, including PPI, during visit to Qayyum Papa football ground, Quetta here on Sunday to inspect the construction, repair and renovation work at Qayyum Papa football ground.
Jamali said, “All Quetta Flood Light Football Tournament, 2023” will be arranged in Qayyum Papa football ground during the month of Ramadan, therefore, he added that it is being ensured to finalise the ongoing development work”.
He said that that in future Qayyum Papa football ground would play an important role for promotion of football game in the province. Jamali inspected the laying work of football turf at Qayyum Papa football ground and directed contractor to expedite completing the remaining construction work.
On the occasion, Executive Engineer, Communication and Works Department, Abdul Salam, Incharge, Qayyum Papa football ground Wilayat Hussain, Bostan Ali, Fida Hussain Hazara and others were also present.
