Rising fuel costs are increasing the cost of development projects: Senior Minister Sindh

Rising petrol prices are significantly increasing the costs of ongoing development projects across the country, a major concern expressed today by Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon, who extensively discussed the economic impacts.

Memon further explained that numerous infrastructure projects are simultaneously underway in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, all designed to provide maximum facilities to its residents.

He specifically termed the Shahrah-e-Bhutto scheme a transformative project for the port city. In a notable gesture, Memon invited former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to personally oversee the progress of the construction work.

Despite the considerable challenges posed by Karachi’s dense population, the official confirmed that infrastructure improvements within the urban center are progressing at a rapid pace, despite existing obstacles.
