Police in Ittihad Town, Keamari, today arrested an accused person in a swift operation who had robbed a citizen after he withdrew cash from a local bank.
The arrested person has been identified as Bilal, son of Abdul Malik. Authorities recovered an illegal pistol and ammunition from his possession at the time of arrest.
In the incident, Bilal and his accomplice attempted to flee after robbing a citizen, Nasir, who had just left the bank with cash.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Ittihad Town Police immediately began a pursuit. With the help of local residents, officers successfully apprehended Bilal, however, his accomplice managed to evade arrest.
Cases have been registered against the arrested accused under sections related to robbery and illegal weapons. Further investigation into the matter is actively ongoing.
