For the eighth day in Nasirabad, the Sajag Shehri Ittehad, led by Senior Vice President Sufi Ghaffar Channa and other prominent figures, continued its protest for the swift and immediate construction of the incomplete Taluka Hospital. The protesters, carrying banners, placards, and black flags on Saturday morning, accused the health department of delaying the hospital’s construction.

The leaders stressed the need for immediate action, criticizing the neglect of elected representatives and the Sindh government, as the hospital has been in disrepair for over 15 years due to the contractor abandoning the project halfway. The lack of doctors and medicines at the rural health center has further worsened the condition of local residents.

Appealing for immediate intervention, the leaders warned that if their demands are not met, they will expand their protest to surrounding villages. They emphasized the need for construction efforts to alleviate the healthcare crisis. A large number of people participated in the protest.
