Saram Burney meets Governor Sindh

KARACHI: Well-known social activist Saram Burney met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor’s House.

In the importance of NGOs in the social sector, further cooperation with the government and other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. On this occasion, Governor Sindh said that the services of Saram Burney Trust in various fields are worthy of appreciation. In this regard, the trust’s shelter homes for the old age persons destitute boys and girls are important as they are being provided peaceful and quality accommodation.

He further said that I am very happy to know that the provision of legal aid by the trust to the people is solving their legal problems, while handing over abandoned children to childless couples is also a commendable step. Governor Sindh assured Saram Burney that he will provide all possible support and assistance in the initiatives of the trust. Saram Burney said that it is our mission to reduce the problems of the people. He further said that legal assistance is being provided to specially women in various issues by trust.
