The 24th meeting of the Senate of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Women’s University Bagh was held at the Presidential House Muzaffarabad, highlighting the pressures and developments in the educational landscape of the institution. The meeting, chaired by Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Acting President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Chancellor of the region’s universities, aimed to improve the quality of higher education.
According to the Presidential Secretariat, Presidency, Kashmir House, Islamabad, the meeting was attended by key figures, including Professor Dr. Anila Kamal, Vice-Chancellor of the Women’s University, and Professor Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti, representative of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, who highlighted the major issues facing the university.
Professor Dr. Anila Kamal presented a comprehensive briefing on the university’s current developments and challenges.
The meeting was attended by various distinguished academic experts, both in person and online, including former vice-chancellors and prominent professors from other esteemed institutions.
Chaudhry Latif Akbar emphasized the importance of utilizing all available resources to raise the educational standards of the university. He assured the Vice-Chancellor of his unwavering support in improving the quality of education and highlighted the importance of fostering a conducive environment for higher education.
