In a move to reinforce security across the federal capital, SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza today conducted a comprehensive review of various duty points, issuing new directives to enhance the effectiveness of policing measures under special instructions from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
During a series of visits, the SSP Operations personally engaged with police officers and personnel stationed at key locations throughout the city.
He meticulously reviewed the existing checking processes and instructed relevant officers to implement more effective and purposeful screening protocols to ensure the robust protection of citizens” lives and property.
A clear directive was issued for all deployed personnel to maintain a state of high alert, conduct thorough checks on suspicious individuals and vehicles, and ensure the immediate reporting of any unusual activities to senior command.
Further emphasizing the importance of community relations, the SSP instructed officers to interact with the public in a polite and respectful manner, a strategy aimed at strengthening the trust between law enforcement and residents.
Officials reiterated that safeguarding the public remains the foremost priority for the Islamabad Police, with all current security arrangements being implemented to achieve this primary objective.
The police have also urged citizens to extend their full cooperation and to promptly report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the dedicated Pucar-15 helpline.
