LARKANA:Seven more agents were arrested by Rahmatpur police station from Ehsas Kifalat Centre established at Government Boys School, Bhains Colony, on charges of making illegal deductions from the fund of the poverty stricken recipient women.
Those arrested include Zamir son of Abdul Salam Bughio, Irfan son of Barkat Khoso, Abdul Ghafoor son of Manzoor Soomro,Akash son of Liaquat Bahleem, Fatah son of Umar Chandio, Javed son of Manzoor Chandio and Farhan son of Rasul Bux Soomro.
Police recovered from their possession devices, cash, mobile phones and mobile chargers. They also registered a case against them and startede further probe.
It must be mentioned here that the menace of agents working at these Ehsas Centre has increased manifold and complaints of their illegal acts are constantly coming from across the Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot districts.
Federal and provincial governments should take proper measures to eliminate these practices so that poor beneficiaries could be able to get an entire amount quickly at their doorsteps.
